STEP 6: Finding a solution



The Diagnostics Tool connects now to the Support server and searches for a solution to your issue. One of the following three things will happen:

  1. You will be informed, that there is an update available, which will be downloaded and installed, automatically. If this update does not work, you can always revert it later with the restore button.
  2. You will be presented with detailed information, on how to fix the issue. Please follow the instructions carefully.
  3. If no update or information is available for your problem. Please contact the SecuROM support.

You can contact SecuROM support, to help you with your issue. In order for SecuROM to help you, please create an analysis file yourself and attached it to the contact information.

During the update process such a file has been generated automatically. Search on your PC for a file called AnalysisLog.sr0 to find it. If you can not find it, or want to create a new one, detailed information on how to create such a file are available here.

Note: Please restore any update you might have applied, before generating the analysis file, or contacting SecuROM.
