Q: I get a BSOD (blue screen) because usbstor.sys is crashing.
A: Sending a specific command to a USB drive might cause the Microsoft usbstor.sys driver to crash. Please download this updated game executable which contains a workaround:
- Open the folder where you have installed 'Bionic Commando' on your hard disc.
- Rename the 'bionic_commando.exe' to 'bionic_commando.exe.OLD' in the folder above (Right-click on this executable and go down to 'rename')
- Download this zip-archive: http://static.capcom.com/bioniccommando/Bionic_Commando_Hotfix_July_22.zip
- Extract the new 'bionic_commando.exe' from the downloaded zip-archive into the folder where you have installed 'Bionic Commando' on your hard disc.
- Start the new 'bionic_commando.exe'
